Yesterday I went with a friend to see the totality of the eclipse. We were 60 miles east of Indianapolis on a country road where we set our chairs on a small knoll. We used a phone app the had options for the partial and totality with adjustment sliders for zoom, focus and exposure. We also had a filter card to place over the camera lens. This was so challenging and I'm happy I got some decent shots especially with a phone. I used my iPhone 15 pro max and this is straight off the phone no extra editing. My friend did not do so well her pics were fuzzy so I shared mine with her. She has an older iPhone so maybe that was the reason she did not have any luck. It was difficult-trying to find the eclipse in the frame and and making adjustments with the sliders and since it was difficult to use the glasses when doing all of this I used the phone as a shield. I will have another picture tomorrow. Thanks for your comments. I

Sandi, in my part of the world we couldn't see this natural phenomenon, so I envy you to a certain extent. On our TV-channels and newspapers was given widely attention to it as well. Pity that your friend didn't so well in taking pictures. Your picture has a good quality, very suitable to share it, not only to your friend, but to Caedes-friends who are interested and weren't capable to capture this phenomenon, so 'Thank You'!

This is a terrific capture of this part of the eclipse. Thanks for taking this for us, sure wish I could have seen it for myself. But I'll keep your take on it.
