Here is the total eclipse. I'm so glad I got to experience it, it was a long day but totally worth it. As I mentioned we were on a country road and it was so peaceful, not surrounded by so many onlookers like I have seen on tv. People would drive by and honk and wave. The owners of the property drove by us and waved also. We were outside the fence line, and I'm sure they knew why we were there. This was a cell phone capture and a difficult one at that! I used her car to help keep steady for this one since I did not have a tripod. Yesterday's image was totally hand held. Thanks for your comments.

Sandi, your patience was rewarded, resulting in an excellent capture of this phenomenon.
I like to repeat that I envy you in this matter, 😁 !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
