The other day when I went to Wellfield Botanic Garden, I spotted this cutie for a quick click with the DSLR. This was taken with the Nikon D500 with the Nikkor 18-200 lens which I will be use only on the D500 since it is a DX lens and to use it on the D750 I would have to change settings and I don't want to mess with that. I have had the lens for awhile and finally tried it out. Lol! I did a slight crop of the image, and a tad of sharpen just around the chipmunk. I wish it was a little better than this but it was the best of two clicks. I do appreciate your comments, thanks! tigs=^..^=

He is so cute peeping out of his hidey hole. I am not sure what the creature actually is but I like him and you got a great shot Sandi

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Sandi, when it comes to photography, one is often faced with the choice of whether or not to take a photograph of the subject matter. Often the conditions aren't optimal and/or there's no opportunity to achieve the correct/desired settings. If the originality is better than the desired quality, it's still advisable to take this capture. Your picture is an excellent example of this. In any case, it gives us a unique and very nice/cute chipmunk photograph. A good decision on your part anyhow!

I'm quite sure it's a chipmunk and a cute one too - for a fast click I think this turned out well.

This sure turned out very well given the lighted background. Great catch Sandi.
