There is such a painterly feel here, must have something to do with all the great reflections in the water. I'll have to agree with karri about the tilt, but that's the only thing I have to criticize.
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Not sure if this is a case of artistic licence on your part ... and my apologies for jumping right into this one ... the horizon's tilt is a tad distracting for me.
By presenting your photo this way ... it brings an element of discord to what really is a very peaceful and serene image.
Annnd ... I would heartily suggest, and this is just my preference ... to work on bringing some of the details of the shadowed areas out. Just a bit, mind you ... nothing major.
I like the composition ... the angular leading lines of the tree line and respective reflections ... I like the rock in the foreground peeking up from the water.
A further suggestion would be to crop some ... some of the foreground out. And place that rock in the right third/bottom third intersection point ... if I have that correct.
Almost too centrally placed in my eyes. Just kick up the visual interest a bit, is my thinking here.
Very nice colour saturation, and very natural. A few tweaks would elevate this one quite easily.
As is ... good. Excuse my bluntness here.
You do seem to have a innate eye for composition, and I do look forward to seeing more work from you.
Annnd ... nothing wrong with experimenation either. Take what you will from the comments posted, mine included ... and more importantly ... keep taking more photos. :o)
p.s. Er ... can't remember if I suggested this to you before or not ... oops on me brain ... however, check out Phil's; aka philcuk ... tutorial on "Faking the HDR thing" ... found here. This would work for the suggestion above to bring out some of the details.
