As you might have noticed I did put a picture like this already but if you open my old one you can see that this one has been edited by photoshop cs. The reason why I put this picture on is because it is the first picture I've ever edited so I wanted to know from all you people if you think it looks better or not as good as the old one?

This one is nice but it is not better or worse than the original I think. They're both great! :D

I didn't see the original, so will post my comment w'out comparing them. Love the colour and clarity.

I like the image. Great wildlife catch with beak in flower. I like how the only thing in focus is the subject and the backround is simply a wash. Really pulls your eyes in quite well.

Please don't be upset, but I actually like the original a little better. Some of the coloring, although is more eye-popping, is not as natural and real looking. So, the edited image does give eye candy, but it also detracts a little because the coloration is too vivid which clues you in that it is a manipulation. Which is of course what you want to avoid in most touch ups.

Don't take this as all negative as that was not my intention. I love the image and I completely understand what you were going for in your re-do. So, don't stop giving it a go.

I have looked at them both - this one looks better in the thumbnail but I agree with the above comments in favouring the original one.
It is a very professional looking shot and one to be proud of.
