The snow is gone now, plus, we have a clear sky, so no hope for a white Christmas, 8~(
Still, I hope to share with you a Christmas feeling, so sweet, so crisp, so ...

Hope you'll enjoy this day (~8 8~)
Tim

This is absolutely beautiful. I am speechless! WOW, I don't think you could get much better than this, you did an amazing job! The colors are spectacular, and the angle is perfect!

What bold -- but skillfully controlled -- colors, Tim! Such well-defined detail, too! Exquisite.

Heel fraaie opname Tim. Zie wel dat een ieder op zijn eigen wijze invulling geeft aan dat thema. Kan deze diversiteit goed waarderen.

I love the contrast of colours - the bold blue of the sky combined with the glimmering white of the ice, with just a hint of golden yellow from the sun. Beautiful.

Oh, this does have a Christmas feel to it. I can feel the crisp cold of this clear skied day. Stunning contrast of the colours of the icy branches, against that fantastic sky. I like the way this is composed too. A winner for sure Tim!

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)

Well ok ... now.

I say that, as I just took a look at your image here Tim, at the largest resolution and what at first appeared to me as some oversharpening is not the case at all here.

Think it is the colour contrasts that is resulting, at least in my case and for my eyes ... in a bit of a visual anomaly and the appearance of your image looking a tad 'busy'.

And that is not the best choice of words, however, on my part.

Perhaps, deepening the shadows might help? Think you will understand me here. And provide a better backdrop for the illuminated branches with the touches of gold on them and such.

The other minor and small caveat ... clone out the contrail of the plane to make this absolutely pristeen. As that is the operative word that comes to mind when viewing this photo.

Really a nice composition and good use of space. I like the way you presented this to us.

And I don't see this as being way, way out there experimentally ... so, not sure what was on everyone minds in the booth. The resolution sizes available might be the biggest culprit.

Ehh ... I wouldn't worry about it. It's a good shot, just would like to see this available in the larger and more common sizes, that's all.

And since I am here ... Happy New Year to you and yours.

Best wishes for the upcoming year. :o)

Thanks for sharing this one ... I happen to like it.
