perfect shot for the season. nice detail and color.
" the rock" is a pretty incredible place. there's so much to see! isn't the view from there back to san francisco AMAZING! i had a friend once who was given a personal tour where lots more was open than the usual tourist sees. he was a photographer and did a book! i've often wondered if they still do things like that.

I've been to some places...but I certainly don't intend to visit this one. Creepy !! I love the way you've given the image depth by the angle of the bars, and the colour tones add to the mood. I wonder what stories those brick walls could tell? Looking forward to your Halloween series...Jacquie

Are you sure it is empty Tim? I think I can see a few ghosties in there! ;) Sends shivers down your spine thinking about what went on in that awful place, but it must have been very interesting to see! Good shot - it stirred the emotions!
