I must admit I wasn't familiar with the artist or the song so I went looking and found this. Add that with your photo and you have a wonderful post Maria.
An interesting composition. The gray scale approach both simplifies and dramatizes the keyboard's appearance and the angle stirs the initial curiosity of an abstract. For some reason I think I'd like it even more if the third black key from the right had been in crystal sharp focus. It's a creative shot.
The reason why the sunsets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
I think i am going to stop posting comments and photos on this site, there are weird things and bad people here,it got worse,i do not play anymore.I will post another photo and i will leave a message about that.Have a good week.
Maria - Listening to Mr. Einaudi play, it certainly is inspirational. I like the concept of your photo, with good bokeh effect. What seems to be missing is the one sharply focused key on the piano to bring the shot to the next level. With the keys being black and white, using b/w for the image is effective, keeping the eye on the object of the image. Thad
Being a keyboard player, this of course caught my eye. I too love the angle and B/W for this. At first the focus bothered me, but like inspired music, it actually leaves the imagination to breath a bit. Really nice job.
