Pacific Ocean. Santa Barbara, California. I love the ocean and when I saw all these boats, I felt jealous so I had to take the shot. It was around 4 in the afternoon at this time so you can see the marine layer looming in the background.

Looks nice, but nothing really stands out here for me. It looks like the focal point of the picture is the shadowy patchy sand dune.

I hate to disagree but the whole picture is a focal point. I especially like the child and adult walking in the distance. The only thing I would have done is crop the white bench at the bottom out. This takes away from the photo a little. Overall I really like this !! :)
