You are quick with that shutter! As I expect you have got it all with this image. Good balance with that reflection and nice detail still in the shadow.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

Such a handsome Heron - and you caught him in motion, as that splotch of water shows. Good details of his coat of grey feathers - and such a fine looking face with a sharp eye. The lovely light blue water captures his wonderful reflection. I also like the bits of grass, which breaks up all that blue. You bring us the most marvelous nature views Robert, and I thank you :* )
I love the simplicity of this shot - and of course, the perfect clarity and amazing detail. The stunning blue is so wonderful on the DT. My goodness, but you are an incredible photographer!
You deff. got a talent for being there at dinnertime(lol) Another amazing capture Robert, love that reflection and ofcourse the perfect detail and clarity, wonderful post !!
I suppose the only part which was above the water level was your right eye, one hand and a camera, lol... Gosh, what a sacrifice to please your demending Caedes friends, lolol....Wait a minute, now I know who takes away all the fish, poor heron, I guess he is hunting in vain.
Lovely capture of a 'hunting' heron. Love the texture and color of it's feathers--tempting to pat. He's most certainly caught something and it appears to still be wiggling! Great reflection and motion in the water from where the prawn was plucked. Only thing that I found a tiny bit distracting is the brown reed(?) near the top of his right leg.
Good heavens Robert, were you snorkeling to get this shot? What some people won't do for a picture. And, what timing....just as the bird grabs his lunch. Look at those water rings still on the surface from the bird having made a hurrid shot at the prawn. Did you say you were going to work for National geographic? Into my favs.
