A Damselfly with lunch. It’s a bit hard to tell what is on the menu. It could be a spider in which case it’s nice to see the little guy get revenge for all the Damsels that spiders eat.

I'm glad this isn't a damsel in distress :) Marvelous close up with super details. The web seems so fragile, and the damsels wings look like delicate nets. Very interesting view of this fella. Super job Robert!

Another superb macro from your camera lens to my eyes Robert! the web of the spider is quite detailed despite it being in the bend of the reed. the wings of the damsel fly are incredible with the detail that you have shown us. the rest of the insect isn't bad either! =)
Thanks for sharing your marvelous photographic skills with me Robert. I thoroughly enjoy them.

The wings and tail are superbly focused. Those wings are simply amazing in detail. Great dof on the whole scene.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Seeing the title first I was surprised to find this
Look at that very long torso, and those six short legs at the front end, it must use a lot of energy just staying horizontal. :d
Great detail, and clarity on this macro subject Robert. :d
