Peach melba - the dessert - is peaches and vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce. The peachy pink colors in this rose reminded me of that and I especially like the way the veining in the petals came through. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Really beautiful. Like you, I really love the veining in the outer petals. Also the subtle shade changes from peach to pink and they way they contrast so well against the leaves.

Kathy...You've started with a great subject since I love the colors in this rose. You've done some marvelous post photo work to create the feeling that you can actually touch the rose on the computer screen. The detail work is flawless, and I love the silkiness you impart in your photos. The dark green foliage in the background is a perfect contrast. And the peach colored border is near perfection. One of my favorites flower shots ever.

I see a lot of "foofies" on this site, most of which are run-of-the-mill. Not this one. Encyclopedias of flowers and plants should be lucky to have photos like this in their publication. If it's not already in the perms if certainly belongs there.
