Another shot from Kauai on the way up the Kalaulau trail. My previous shots were lower; this is the highest shot about 5000ft up - there were many low clouds that day and as you can see some still lingered that far up. All comments and critiques appreciated.

I love to see clouds touching the tops of mountains. The colours and details in the foreground foliage are really lovely too.

No wonder Kauai is called the Garden Isle with it's lush tropical greenery and sparkling sand beaches and tall soaring cliffs..excellent picture Kathy!

Kathy...I guess I had it coming. I submitted a flower picture and you submitted a foggy mountain shot. Absolutely beautiful stuff here. What a great green mountain, glorious green tropical foliage, and a foggy summit. Glorious.
