This is absolutely stunning, Kathy. When you look at it in a larger size, it hits you right in the face...and that's a good thing. Wonderful color and sharpness.
Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.

This is one of your best flower photos that I've seen. You have a really great dark background that gives some real "pop" to the bloom. The colors are glorious. You've mastered the "silky with awesome detail" techniques if there is such a thing.
