The second in my series of dahlias from the American Dahlia Society show. The titles are not the name of the flower but my own name from what they appear to me. All comments and critiques appreciated.

This is absolutely stunning, Kathy. When you look at it in a larger size, it hits you right in the face...and that's a good thing. Wonderful color and sharpness.

So lovely, such a nice color, and good focus. Not a fan of the frame, but that is just me. Sorry. Otherwise lovely.

Gorgeous colours in your photo of this miniature sunburst Kathy. Good details, clarity and lighting on the flower.

Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn't go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick. Henri Cartier-Bresson

You know, Kathy....you're gettin' pretty good at these flower pictures. LOL.

This is one of your best flower photos that I've seen. You have a really great dark background that gives some real "pop" to the bloom. The colors are glorious. You've mastered the "silky with awesome detail" techniques if there is such a thing.
