I was in the country today, with one of my cameras, desperately searching for signs of spring. We have had a brutal winter and we have had below normal temps for the last 4 months - March averaged 10 degrees below normal. The most I could find today were a few green shoots only inches high that may, one day, grow up to be daffodils or tulips. But I heard frogs singing in the marshes and swamps so I'm hopeful Spring will come soon! Meanwhile this is another post from my files taken along the exterior of the education center at the Chicago Botanic Garden. All comments and critiques appreciated.

I like the way you positioned the shot. The white and green looks so good against the red brick. Lovely, Kathy.

Kathy - Beautiful! I like the brick background. I saw some of these last summer in Maine and didn't know the kind of hydrangea; now I do! It is a unique flower, captured well. Thad
