After a much delayed spring in my area,(we are running about 3 weeks late)the crabapple and magnolias are finally starting to bloom. When I was in Iowa this weekend, the crabapples there also started popping just in time for my niece's wedding. This is the darkest color of crabapple which is called red in garden catalogs but it's a beautiful rose shade I think. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Quite pretty. I love the colors of the leaves too. I planted one of these in the front yard of our former house. New owners got to enjoy it anyway.

It looks pinkish to me or 'rose' color as you said it.. not much red here :) anyways.. beautiful flowers and you have captured them very well and did a great job with the framing too! :)
