This is a new mum color I'm growing this year - very deep compared to my usual yellows and oranges. I'll be offline probably for several days due to oral surgery for a continuing sinus probelm. I'll try to check postings but may not be commenting. All comments and critiques appreciated.

Vibrant and very beautiful. I think I need a monitor calibration because they look rather fushia colored to me.

Good luck with that surgery. Hope everything works out well and we'll see you back here when you are feeling better, Kathy.

As you know, Kathy, I love your flower photos. So I think we can dispense with the formalities listing the superlatives. For this one time only I will simply say, "Great shot".

As for your surgery, have you ever heard the term TMI? Have I ever mentioned even in passing my latest prostate exam or this year's colonoscopy? How about the fact that I have three testicles? When I was Dorothy I rarely mentioned my OBGYN appointments or my pap smears.

P.S. Somebody years ago accused me in writing of taking something seriously. I killed him just to watch him die.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun

Mum has gone punk! Beautiful colours in the blooms, Kathy. The focus seems a little weak to me with a bit of highlighting on some of the petals. Hope you have a quick recovery.
