The form is the thing in these antiques. The company that made them was known for unusual handles and feet and very delicate colors - the manufacturer was called R.S.Prussia and was located in what was once East Germany. The porcelain is incredibly delicate as is the beautiful hand decorating - these date to about 1895-1910 - pre WWI. All comments and critiques appreciated.

When I was in college, I found that I could release my aggressions by throwing clay at a wall. I always felt so much better after reading 300 pages from book on the anthropological meaning of bird song when I got to the brick wall outside my dorm room and tossed the clay as hard as I could for an hour. I do believe I could have struck out the side against the Chicago Cubs in my prime. I eventually graduated from clay to glass beer bottles and finally to fine porcelain from the University museum. It's amazing to find that porcelain pots don't bounce at all.

I applaud you. Your eye for photography is just as finely attuned to your eye for the delicate antiques that you collect. Truly a beautiful and loving shot of these very delicate and artistically crafted antiques.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Kathy, I wouldn't let Joanie near these if I was you, or ay least demand a deposit before she handles them. Good work on the photo and lovely colours in the pieces.
