I'm growing lots of begonias this year due to the blight affecting impatiens and today is stormy and rainy. All that together equals a begonia in the rain image.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By. Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Lovely shot of a foofy Friday flower, Kathy. But you don't wait for Fridays to post flower shots. Yours is the gift that keeps on giving no matter how much I protest. I'll give you this...your postings are invariable an 8+ out of 10, and you have without a doubt the best borders on Caedes. If I could only convince you to walk around your neighborhood and take photos of something besides the flowers, I'd die a happy man.
They're beautiful flowers, Kathy. Your focus point is on the background leaves and the foreground blossoms are out of focus, or more correctly, on the outer limits of depth of field. The other thing is that there is always effectively lost sharpness in every image when transferred from camera to computer, due to the necessity of compression. Every image needs some re-sharpening, and amounts vary depending on lighting and tonal range.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Stop the presses! You are just now getting around to informing us of the impatiens blight. That seems like something that should have been the lead story. Nice to see you have cornered the market on begonias. Lovely colours in the photo Kathy.
