This is another view from our hotel suite - this time looking southeast. We stayed in a small town called Delafield which is in the Lake Country of the Kettle Moraine. The town's population is about 7500 and the whole town is very colonial in architecture and style. It is not a new suburb of Milwaukee as it was established in 1837. The historic area of Delafield offers unique quaintness nestled in the hills of the Kettle Moraine. Surrounding Nagawicka Lake, Delafield is just 30 minutes west of Milwaukee The downtown district has exceptional craftsmen shops, home accessories, gifts and clothing shops. There are many interesting restaurants and 2 micro breweries with restaurants as well. The town very much reminded me of Williamsburg Va.in many ways.
