Well it's been snowing for 45 consecutive hours now here in the northern Chicago land area - we have 16 inches on the ground and about 4 inches more to come before it ends today around 5:00pm. I do not want to see anything white anytime soon! I want to see blue skies and spring flowers as in this lovely bouquet my hubby sent me when he was recovering from his cancer surgery last spring. Alas there is more snow predicted for Sunday followed by temperature of -20 degrees! I'm beginning to understand why people retire to warmer climates!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.
I so agree with you about spring, and what a lovely reminder of what is to come, I wish it was tomorrow.Lol! We got about half of that snow amount, and I just got done using a snow shovel to clear the driveway,took me almost 2 hours, but got it done.
