The wedding I was at this weekend was located on Lac La Belle which is a kettle lake formed by retreating glaciers eons ago. The yellow lotus were just starting to bloom and this was the most open bud. A blue damsel fly landed on the lily pad next to the bud and I took the shot at that moment. Here is some additional information on this lake from the Wisconsin Natural Resources Department. "Lac La Belle is a shallow kettle 1154 acre lake located in Oconomowoc, Waukesha County Wisconsin. It has a maximum depth of 45 feet and an average depth of 11 feet. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water is very clear." And this color has had no enhancement.
