This very old oak tree has just had this years crop of babies. These little acorns were only about 1/2" across. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations states that 'great oaks from little acorns grow' is a 14th century proverb.
Nature will continue to flourish as long as man does not hinder nature's growth but shortsighted and selfish interference will continue to destroy nature. Nice shot Kathy.
