I thought a shot of snowberries appropriate for today as we are supposed to get 2-3" of the white stuff later today. We are having a record setting November cold spell in the Chicago area - not since 1951 has this happened - 63 years ago. I wonder if it is mere coincidence or does it portend something for this winter.

I hope the early cold snap doesn't linger all winter, Kathy.
It is too early.
I don't think I recall seeing any of these. Good capture.

The snowberries actually looks delicious on this cold day. It's only just above freezing here in Delaware. Very nice post, Kathy.

Those are pretty! Love the shade of pink and the lighting is really good.

We are supposed to get an inch of snow here in Oklahoma! Unheard of! Some years we don't even get snow.

Very nice shot of the berries with clear details Kathy. As for the weather nobody can predict whether it will be a mild winter or a hard one. As you know it all depends on how low pressures develop and how they move.

A beautiful image for this wintery day & it isn't officially winter yet. It's been lightly snowing all day here & the same for tomorrow. Love the pale pink & white against the green. Gorgeous capture, Kathy.

How can something so very pretty be poisonous. They look delightful, such a delicate shade of pink !

Keep warm in your cold snap, one thing we can not ever rely upon is the weather !

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
