I don't know what this is which is a bit unusual for me. It resembles heather but isn't. Its buds look a little like straw flowers but aren't. So any help would be appreciated, if not just enjoy full size.
Even with my considerable knowledge on every subject there is, (that's a bold face lie. lol) I have no idea what these pretty foofies could possible be. They are going to look great on my desktop this coming week, Kathy. I love the color.
I'm enjoying full size because I do not know the name of the flowers - but they are very pretty and such a lovely color and quite different. As Marzena stated in her post, I also agree that Cornelius would know - missing him too. Nice Capture Kathy!!!
I can't help with the name, Kathy, but they are certainly pretty. Let's make up a name until Cornelius returns. Strawberry something or other comes to mind.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Kathy, think that I will disappoint my fans to a certain extent, as I couldn't identify the depicted flowers as well. To me they belong to the Allium family, but I couldn't find a specie with that color. Reading the above comments, think that Lyn had almost hit the nail at its head. If I had felt myself healthier now, I could have spent more time for searching the solution, but now I have to accept some limitations.

If they were yellow I'd swear they were dandelions, so by the process of elimination that means they are roses because they are red. Lovely colours in your photo, Kathy.
