No these are not edible, but this viburnum got so named because of the resemblance of its berries to cranberries. They get this deep red in the autumn.
Amazing how one berry can be so delicious and another can be inedible, even sometimes poison. They all make great subjects for photos in their brilliant color and lovely growing patterns, Kathy.
Did you ever wonder how many people in the old days had to keel over before they deemed something like this inedible? (My bizarre mind working overtime.) They may not be edible, but they sure do appear delicious. Beautiful shot, Kathy.
