Thunbergia, also known as black-eyed Susan vine or clock vine comes in orange, white, yellow, cream or salmon and originated in South Africa. I like the wonderful textures on the leaves.
Kathy, there are entirely too many flowers being named black-eyed susans. These are very pretty and I prefer the name clock vine because these other names seem to be giving me a black eye.
Kathy, in my country it's called 'Susan with the beautiful eyes'. I had this rather high plant in my garden too. I say 'had' because, although she's beautiful, it's was too time consuming for me (it's a very 'thirsty' lady, lol).
