These are popular in my area and blooming now - they bloom after the lilac bushes. They get about 20-25 feet tall and have very large showy blooms about 10-12" long and wide. This was taken yesterday at Flick Park.
Once again, Kathy, this shot is just about perfect. I had hoped from the title that maybe this would be a shot of an entire tree, but the blooms are nice too. I miss the lilacs in Illinois. There are only a few in the area. When I smell them, they take me back 50 years in an instant. Same thing with honeysuckle.
Wonderful to see these large blossoms, Kathy. Like Sandi and Raj, I like the wonderful lighting. It's like the blossoms are sparkling now. Hit by a magic wand, lol! Very special, my friend!

Excellent detail and a nice blurry background.
