I'm now seeing more and more dahlias starting to bloom - pushed along I think by our hot summer. Our central AC went out Friday might and we had workmen here yesterday until 7:00pm last night trying to fix it. They have a temporary fix going but are awaiting parts.

If flowers have individual personalities, this one is definitely an extrovert, with its' darker vibrant centre and its' lighter outer edges...a beautiful flower and great shot as usual, Kathy.

I like what SAW wrote, and I totally agree! Such bold, and rich color in these lovelies. Thank goodness they were able to get it running for you even if it's a not a permanent fix. My neighbor was without it too for awhile when it was terribly hot, but got it fixed. tigs=^..^=

Wow! It doesn't get any better than this. Ditto on what Saw SAW said. A most lovely Desktop bouquet. Just be glad you don't have to buy a new AC unit. I had to do that awhile back.

Wouldn't you just know it Kathy, the HVAC fails on the hottest days or the coldest - those dahlias are spectacular - apparently, the heat agrees with them lol - btw - Great Capture!!!!!!!!

Kathy, everyone of us know that a sweltering heat can be crippling. I can't see however by your ongoing activities a decrease in uploading posts. That earns admiration! Thanks my friend you for your continued efforts to please us with very good photos, and I really hope that your airco will be fixed/repaired soon!

Very nice beautiful capture! Just think, although its hot up there, down here in Florida, we still have 3 more months of that weather! It's a humid 82 degrees when I leave at 6am!
