This tall native wildflower brings a riot of fall flower color to North American roadsides. Growing up to 6 feet tall, it makes a great back-of-the-border plant. Blooms range from pale pink to bold purple. It has been cultivated now into garden plants that bloom in fall when other plants have quit. It draws whatever bees and butterflies are remaining late into the fall.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Kathy, I don't know whether bees and butterflies are hibernating or not, but I think anyhow that they are in a hurry now to collect the latest nectar for this year.

Wonderful one again, my friend!
