This was taken in the greenhouse of the Chicago Botanic Garden. It's a newly emerging shrimp plant. Named thusly for the look of those orange bracts to shrimp shells. The actual flower petals are the pink.

Kathy, hope that the wonderful flowers aren't be used in a vegetarian seafood restaurant (just kidding!).

I've seen in my area (flower shops, greenhouses of growers, etc.) several colored versions. The official name is Pachystachys.
