Another favorite cool weather flower is ranunculi which also lasts into warmer weather. Seen here surrounded by pansies.

Love these Kathy!!!! To my eye they look similar to a peony - the color is lovely - also like the pansies on the edge - Great Capture!!!!!!!!

Kathy, referring to Laura's comment above, to me they have the appearance of a 'blend' of peonies and roses. Splendid flowers however, captured by you perfectly again, my friend!
