A variety of spirea - bridal wreath is known for it arcing canes loaded with flowers that spill over. In this case you can see it was spilling over the sidewalk on the right. It got it's name because it was used to make a headpiece to hold a bride's veil in place. The plant's origins date back to China.

Kathy, if you check-out this link, you will see that the Spiraea Japonica 'Bridal Veil' shrub/bush is (still) growing in my garden as well. Because we hadn't to deal with a cold spring in my area, the blossoms meanwhile are gone, and now I have cut back the seize of the shrub/bush to its normal proportions, in order to be able to display its blossoms again next year. Till then I can enjoy its splendor by viewing your fine image as well.

They look pretty in the bright sunlight. The branches are "loaded" with the little flowers.
