Thought this Gloxinia had a Christmas look to it. Originally from the Andes and Brazil these are now widely grown as house plants. I see mostly purple ones but I thought this crimson one was striking.

Such a lovely flower, I don't think I have seen this one before. Marvelous details, and the color is perfect for the season.
