Thought this Gloxinia had a Christmas look to it. Originally from the Andes and Brazil these are now widely grown as house plants. I see mostly purple ones but I thought this crimson one was striking.

Striking Gloxina indeed, Kathy. The details are great.
If this splendid and very warm toned image won't bring someone in a Christmas mood, nothing else would do!

Such a lovely flower, I don't think I have seen this one before. Marvelous details, and the color is perfect for the season.

It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas, Kathy. I like the edges trimmed with frosting.

A truly beautiful gloxinia and certainly does have a Christmassy look

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
