A 1962 American film drama from the Eugene O'Neill play. It was taken right from the play rather that a screenplay and directed by one of my favorite directors Sidney Lumet. Oddly, we did not see this film in the course I took on Lumet. This is a rework of an actual spring sunset picture I took last year. Another for SNATM this week.

So beautiful Kathy.
Obviously you are a student of the cinema and literature.
You especially seem to love the classics. I don't blame you.
I was/am a Hemingway fan, but I too love O'Neill, Faulkner and Tennessee Williams.
I would love to see a play on Broadway.
Thanks for getting my juices flowing.
Perfect one for SNATM.👍👍

A very lovely sunset shot and an apt photo for the title of the movie. The colors and composition in this shot are excellent.

Kathy, I can't remember the initial version of this spring sunset image.
Two options:
1. I become forgetful;
2. I missed it due to a temporary absence from Caedes.
I naturally hope for the latter, 😜 .
This rework is beautiful and is an excellent visualization of this SNATM theme (🎥)!
S + F! Thank you for sharing this wonderful rework with us, 👍 !

A mystical scene that stands well on its own as well as being a great film title cover

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
