Kathy, In my early childhood days I really thought that it were mandarin slices, and did an attempt to consume them, but my mother was in time to prevent this, 😜 !
Nowadays it waters my mouth again, but this time because of your very attractive image!

It looks like they are huddling together to keep warm.
Not sure I have ever seen one before. They sure are photogenic.
