One of the places I regularly visit has a separate room for all their orchids - a specialty of theirs. This was shot in that room - some soft yellow butterfly orchids to brighten a winter's day.

I would need to be more genteel to be allowed in the Orchid Room, Kathy. For now I will look through the glass at these beauties.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.

Kathy, if you could be here, think it would be completely clear that this wonderful orchid image brightens up my day too. Although the temperatures are relatively high here, the very strong/stormy winds have last for more than three weeks now, with very little sunshine. Think that we better could have freezing weather with sunshine. But that's not up to us. We have to accept as it comes.
