That is the name of this Belarina variety of Primrose or Primula. It blooms a little earlier than other primrose and features fully double, very fragrant flowers cupped by green leaves.
Kathy, to me the title 'buttercup' is somewhat misleading, 😁 . When I saw only the title announced in my friend-list, I really got the association of the yellow wildflowers that can be seen in meadows and other environments. I'm not disappointed however, because this wonderful capture is far more that I could expect after only reading the title.
