We are having record heat in my area for this early in June and we are in a severe drought - about 9.5" below what we should have for the year so far. That seems to be pushing many things to bloom earlier than usual. These lilies are a good example - normally I would not be seeing these until July - obviously they are being well watered as evidenced by the lush greens around them.

Those lilies are lovely Kathy - very pretty color as well - here in Jersey, the lily patch along the sheep pasture has not begun to bloom as of yet - however, yellow daylilies are out - they're everywhere and everywhere - the ditch lilies also are out - Great Capture!!!!!!!!!

Even in a severe dry season someone has given care to these wonderful lilies. This effort has made that they survived this extreme weather conditions.

Love Lilies but they do make me sneeze...Being a flower most often found at funerals...That can be quite embarrassing..R.
