A very old fashioned flower that fell out of favor but is making a comeback. Blooms all summer with a wonderful fragrance that some compare to vanilla but others say smells like cherry pie - I'm on the cherry pie side.
Kathy, the Heliotrope is in gardens of my country a not well known flower. It's possible that it's regarded as an old fashioned plant, but I suppose that a more valid reason is that most species aren't hardy. It's good that you bring this flower to the attention, because there is nothing wrong with its beauty. Thanks for this (well lighted) beautiful capture!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
