I don't know if this is the last rose of Summer or the first rose of Autumn! When I drove by my favorite rose garden this morning virtually nothing was still blooming - we've had a cold spell recently with days in the 50's and nights around 40. This rose was taken a week ago and was still hanging on.

Kathy, the same here about the weather. In my country it wasn't never that cold in September, so in my garden only the 'floral die-hards' are still marginally blooming.
Think you've captured this rose perfectly on time. With its subtle colors a very fine one anyhow!

If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins! Please CLICK HERE to see my journal! Feel free to save my images or to add them to your favorites.
