Took this one this morning of a really spectacular rudbeckia - the flowers are about 5-6" across and they stand about 2 feet high. It may not be here tomorrow as we are under a general freeze warning for tonight. So it's my foofy for this Friday to give it its day in the sun!

I have never heard of this one before, Kathy, but from your description and what I see here, it almost looks like a negative of a sunflower. That subtle ring of tiny but bright points is particularly nice. I think my wife, who is allergic to sunflowers, and my granddaughter, whose favorite flower is a sunflower, both need to see this, so I think I *m going to snitch a copy for that very thing. Six thumbs up (from my two ladies and me!), and a save and fave from me.

---the flowers are about 5-6"---

Kathy, of course I take your narrative for granted, because one can't determine the size of these giant rudbeckia in your photograph, which is otherwise very nice.
Thanks for this lovely e EF²I (Early Foofy Friday Image, 😁).
Seen and captured very well!

It is a lovely capture of lovely flowers Kathy. I have not seen them that size before. They are a beautiful warm colour.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
