This was taken from my 6th floor balcony looking towards the 1 square block copse across from my building. When all the old 50ft. trees are fully leafed out you cannot see this tree but every spring there it is blooming away. I wanted to take this today as storms are forecast along with snow showers tomorrow and Monday

Kathy, spring is in full swing in my area. Your latitude is about 42° while mine is about 51.5°. The climate (your continental climate versus my moderate maritime climate) is probably killing you.
If your weather forecast for today and tomorrow (April 16th and 17th) comes true, take hope and courage from your beautiful photograph!

I'm not sure a 3200x pixel shot is doing justice to the local wild crabtree population. Suggest you grab a ladder and get us some closeups. Also, do you make a crabtree pie? I'd love some.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
