This is my last June rose for foofy Friday. It would have been my 44th wedding anniversary. My late husband Dave loved yellow roses so this is in memory of him. It's hard to believe he will have been gone 3 years next month.
Kathy, some time ago I met a man whose wife passed away 10 years ago. When I asked him about his experience, he told me, "When you have loved someone very much, the loss never wears off." On October, 7th it will be 10 years since my dear and beloved wife passed away. I now understand and feel what he said to me because my experience is the same now. That's why I can empathize with your situation very well. Your yellow rose photograph as a tribute to Dave couldn't be better chosen. I was married 45 years and you 41 years. One can't just wipe this away!
If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!

Kathy this is a beautiful tribute to your husband! The yellow rose is my favorite as well. The 4th of June was 10 years since the passing of Harry, and I still think of him, and miss him! We were together 22 years. and the loss is still there. tigs=^..^=
It is a beautiful tribute Kathy. You and Cornelius and Sandi all missing a loved one. I do feel for you. "Love is really the only thing we can possess, keep with us, and take with us." ~ Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
