Kathy, Mother Nature often offers us many beautiful, but sometimes also less beautiful things such as the early frost in your area that has plagued the mums. We don't have frost here (yet), but yesterday we were hit by a heavy storm, which left a mess in my garden, like an uprooted Japanese cherry tree.
Luckily you still have some mum pictures. Let them come. This Foofy Friday (F²) contribution makes them very promising.

Back in the 60�s my mother had several huge, round white mum bushes planted around the house, green balls at least 4 feet in diameter with blossoms about 4� wide. I always thought of them�as I do those in your capture, Kathy�as being the epitome of nature�s perfection. Lovely.
