Originally from the Andes of South America this is seen now mostly at florists as a good winter plant along with cyclamen and azalea. My foofy for this Friday.

Kathy, because of the horizontal position of this Gloxinia flower, it resembles to a certain extent to me a trumpet that sounds that the winter is gone (perhaps wishful thinking from me, 😁) .
