The smoke you described has softened the background , Thumbs up from me.

I like this and agree with the above regarding the historical feel, although abit lessend by the addition of a new wheel house. I am assuming you were in another boat so the opportunity to change angle was not present. Vessels in my opinion are best photographed at 3/4 position as it tends to show more the flow and lines of the subject. You have captured some nice detail and with a bit of contrast would make this image stand out. The b/w was a good choice as well. I notice you do not post much so welcome back and look forward to more. Thanks for the share.

I like this shot alot too. If only the old vessel could speak with us. The smoke really does add something to the shot too. Nice work.
