Just giving this little flower another go, in the past I had the elements working against me, but this flower was so close to the ground it was quite sturdy. I think if I used the 80mm macro lens the pedals would be sharper and I would have much more DOF. Thanks for stopping in.

What a nice close up of this pretty. Is this the same plant for chicory root coffee?

Yes it is the same chicory; the root is baked then ground and used as a coffee substitute.
The leaf is used in salad, and the buds are also used but I don’t know for what.
