We received a hummingbird feeder as a gift. Less than 24 hours later, we have a pair of ruby-throated hummers staking their claim! This will be a fun summer!

Nicely composed shot. Glad they got you a colorful feeder as it enhances the image. Hummers seem to love our rose of sharon bush.

some pictures say a thousand words... others speak silently to the soul
I have to say that the bright, almost gaudy, colour of the feeder rather takes the eye away from the small and plain hummingbird. Perhaps shots of the birds in flight coming to or going from the feeder would add a more dynamic aspect to the shot.
