Beautiful work. The colours, details and textures of this are really very, very nice indeed. It reminds me vaguely of a Klein bottle, but I see the twister, too. I like the idea of a cyclone in outer space (provided it doesn't affect inhabited planets, of course). Have you considered adding some stars in to give the image a bit more depth and to set the scene? I don't know if this would work, of course, but it struck me as a possibility worth considering at least briefly.
